Jan. 12, 2007 - Methamphetamine Contaminated Property Public Workshop (PDF 79k). The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is conducting a public workshop for stakeholders and other interested parties to discuss the actions needed to further implement the goals of the Methamphetamine Contaminated Property Cleanup Act of 2005, Assembly Bill (AB) 1078 (Chapter 570, Statutes of 2005) and its follow up cleanup bill, AB 2587, (Chapter 789, Statutes of 2006). Under AB 1078 and AB 2587, DTSC is required to conduct public workshops to discuss ways to improve the Methamphetamine Contaminated Property Cleanup Act of 2005. The Methamphetamine Contaminated Property public workshop is scheduled during the 9th Annual California Unified Program Conference. SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Scholarships are available to CUPA and PA staff only. The 7-Eleven Scholarship fund applies to jurisdictions that contained one or more 7-Eleven gas stations as of October, 2004. The scholarships include payment of registration fees, travel, hotel and per diem. An Award Letter will be sent to successful applicants.
