Susan Hahn has been a Environmental Health Specialist with the San Diego County Environmental Health Department Hazardous Materials Division since 2001. She works as part of the Program Coordination & Operations Team as the Pollution Prevention Specialist / Training Coordinator. For 5 years she was on the compliance inspection and education team where her duties included USTs, Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste, Tiered Permitting and Medical Waste inspections from automotive repair to the biotech industry. Prior to working for the County of San Diego, Susan worked in a few biotech companies and the Naval Health Research Institute. Susan earned her BS in Microbiology from San Diego State University. Susan is also a Registered Environmental Health Specialist and certified as a California UST Inspector.
